FAQ
We get many questions when it comes to carpet cleaning and care. We hope that this section helps answer some of those questions.
Does cleaning damage the carpet?
No. Not having your carpets professionally cleaned regularly will reduce
the overall useful life of the carpet. Dirt particles and other soiling
in your carpets act like little cutting blades to your carpet fibers.
It is very important to have everyday soiling professionally removed on
a regular basis.
How long does it take to dry?
That depends on several things. What type of carpet you have, air movement inside the home or
office, and weather. Most carpets dry between 1 and 6 hours.
How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
That depends on several things as well. What type of carpet you have,
how much traffic it receives, and whether you are having it cleaned to
restore its looks or having it maintained. Carpet fibers are designed
to hide soiling. When carpet becomes visibly dirty, it is often filthy.
It is highly recommended that the carpet is properly maintained before
it gets to this state.
A good maintenance program will help keep your carpets looking their best for a long time. Regular care can and will prolong the life of the carpet. For residential carpet, it is recommended that the carpets be vacuumed at least twice per week and deep cleaned using hot water extraction two times a year. Even though you may be spending a little more per year to maintain that carpet, you are making the carpet last longer, and helping keep it's original appearance. New carpet is very expensive, spend a little amount of money now to avoid spending a lot later.
